As a pioneer in the banking world, we’re not the new kids on the block. Just like James Bond with sophisticated gadgets out of the trunk of a car, we initially launched in 1994 as a credit union for America Airline pilots and doing all the high-tech remote online banking (ATM reimbursements, etc.) services way before all the big banks.
Eventually, in 2000 we converted to an Illinois state charted savings bank and an FDIC Member. We later took roots at our current location in Oswego in 2007.
As a small business, we get it and understand the pain and struggle of starting from peanuts vs. big corporate capital funding to launch.
The Little Bank That Could…
As your bank, we’re always looking for better ways to do things and work hard to improve our services and make sure you have what you need when you need it. As we work to continue to grow and improve, we promise to do it one satisfied customer at a time.
At ALLIED FIRST Bank, we’re a local community bank that might be small and unique like a two-dollar bill, but that’s why we try twice as hard, which nowadays is a hard value to find.
But this willingness to roll up our sleeves to get the job done right is not an advertising slogan but our way of doing business. We’re committed to our customers and being the bank that you deserve.
As a member of the ALLIED FIRST Bank family, we are truly local, so we’re dedicated to our communities where we serve. For nearly 30 years, ALLIED FIRST Bank has invested in, given back to, and gotten to know the people of our communities. When you bank with us, you can be confident your money is staying local and going back into the things that matter most to you and NOT large corporate shareholders’ profits to NYC.
